What Is Money Octopus™?

It’s a real-life game for building ways to get paid.

Money Octopus™ is a game.

Not a board game.

Not an app.

Not one of those games where you collect fake coins that are somehow worth absolutely nothing after you’ve spent three hours earning them.

This one happens in real life.

You use TikTok, AI, online tools, what you already know, and the internet to build connected ways to make money.

You start with one arm.

Then you build another.

Then you connect them.

That’s the Money Octopus™.

And when you play it right?

You get paid.

Why call it a game?

Because building a business has somehow become incredibly serious.

Everything is a funnel.

Everything is a strategy.

Everything needs a framework, a dashboard, a 47-step launch plan, and apparently seventeen people yelling at you about your morning routine.

We decided to make it fun instead.

Money Octopus™ turns building income into something you can actually play.

There are moves.

There are points.

There are levels.

There are different paths you can take.

There are expansion packs.

There’s multiplayer mode.

And most importantly, there is no requirement that you already know exactly what your giant, perfect business is supposed to become.

You just make the next move.

How does Money Octopus™ work?

The idea is simple:

Instead of depending on one job, one customer, one platform, one product, or one way of getting paid, you build connected income streams over time.

Each one becomes another arm of your Money Octopus™.

One arm might be TikTok LIVE.

Another might be TikTok Shop.

Another might be a digital product.

Another might be print-on-demand merchandise.

Another might be a Shopify store.

Another might come from something completely different that you discover while you’re playing.

The goal is not to build eight random side hustles.

The goal is to build things that work together.

Your audience can support your products.

Your products can support your store.

Your content can bring people into your ecosystem.

Your skills can become something sellable.

One move creates opportunities for the next one.

That’s when it starts becoming an octopus.

Where do you start?

If you’re already on TikTok, congratulations.

You’ve already made your first move.

Seriously.

You’re on the board.

The next step is The Blueprint.

The Blueprint is New Player Mode.

It teaches you how the game works, how to start using TikTok intentionally, how to begin identifying opportunities around you, and how to start building your first arm.

You do not need to have a business figured out before you begin.

You do not need a giant audience.

You do not need a perfect niche.

You do not need to quit your job tomorrow.

You need to start playing.

Choose your path

Not every player starts in the same place.

Some people are trying to leave a job.

Some are trying to design a business from scratch.

Some already have a business and want to grow it.

That’s why Money Octopus™ has different paths.

Leave a Job

If your goal is eventually replacing traditional employment with income you control, this path helps you start building an exit strategy.

Your job is not the final level.

Design a Business

Maybe you have ideas, skills, interests, and experience—but no clear structure yet.

This path is about building the infrastructure that turns those pieces into an actual business.

Grow an Existing Business

Already selling something?

Great.

Now the question becomes how you add more arms, connect them, and create an ecosystem instead of relying on one source of revenue.

Different starting point.

Same game.

What counts as a move?

A move can be tiny.

Posting a video is a move.

Going LIVE is a move.

Learning TikTok Shop is a move.

Creating your first product is a move.

Opening Shopify is a move.

Writing down something you know how to teach is a move.

Meeting another creator is a move.

Testing something and realizing it doesn’t work is also a move.

You are not trying to execute some flawless master plan.

You are gathering information while you play.

Make a move.

See what happens.

Make the next one.

What are the points?

Some points are obvious.

Sales count.

Customers count.

Revenue counts.

Those are useful points.

But they aren’t the only ones.

Showing up counts.

Learning counts.

Taps count.

Shares count.

Comments count.

Saves count.

Reposts count.

Trying something new counts.

Building relationships counts.

Creating something that didn’t exist yesterday counts.

Helping another player counts.

The game gets a lot more interesting when money is one kind of point instead of the only point that matters.

Ironically, that usually makes it easier to keep playing long enough to actually make money.

What is Multiplayer Mode?

Eventually, games are more fun when other people are playing too.

That’s Blackburn Studios.

Studios is Multiplayer Mode for creators.

Players go LIVE, build their own campfires, share strategies, support each other, and work as one team while still building their own businesses.

No downlines.

No paying to join.

No pretending everybody has to build exactly the same thing.

Just people intentionally helping people play better.

Because algorithms are useful.

People are better.

Do I need eight income streams?

No. Probably more tbh.

But, please don't walk away from this article believing your homework is to immediately create eight businesses.

The octopus is the idea.

You build one arm.

Then another when it makes sense.

The number is less important than the connection.

One strong arm is better than eight exhausted little tentacles flailing around the internet.

Start where you are.

Build what makes sense.

Connect the pieces.

Keep playing.

Is Money Octopus™ a course?

No.

There are guides and expansion packs that help you learn different parts of the game, but Money Octopus™ itself is bigger than a course.

It is the game those resources help you play.

You can learn how to build a Shopify headquarters.

You can learn how to create digital products.

You can learn how to make physical products.

You can learn how to use TikTok.

You can enter Multiplayer Mode.

Those are all parts of the same world.

You decide what you build.

Who made Money Octopus™?

Money Octopus™ was created by Blackburn HQ.

Blackburn HQ exists around one very simple idea:

Let’s make getting paid fun again.

Actually—

Let’s make getting paid fun for the first time ever.

Because somewhere along the way, earning money became synonymous with being stressed, exhausted, trapped, serious, or miserable.

We think there should be another option.

Build things.

Try things.

Meet people.

Learn the internet.

Make weird little moves that turn into opportunities you could not have predicted six months ago.

Have fun.

And when you play it right, get paid.

How do I play Money Octopus™?

Start simple.

  1. Get The Blueprint and learn the game.
  2. Show up.

  3. Meet people.

  4. Choose the path that matches where you are.

  5. Build one arm.

  6. Connect the next one.

  7. Keep playing.

That’s it.

You do not have to know what the whole thing becomes yet.

That would ruin half the fun.

Ready to make your first move?

You’re already here.

So technically, you’ve started.

Welcome to Money Octopus™.

Built for fun. Played for real.

Now go play.
